Rated 2 out of 5 by Sambo Easy to install, Looks good, Lens angle too narrow to be of use, Lack of mounting instruction
Product was well packaged and seemed to offer a lot of value. Installation went quite easily although there is absolutely no specific information about ideal location for the camera - a most critical operation for a surveillance unit. The camera lens has a viewing angle of 67 deg which puts it in a small telephoto lens category - certainly not ideal for monitoring purposes where a wide angle (at least 90 deg) would be required. Between my shorty wife and myself, barely 15cm taller than her, we struggled with a suitable camera location, finally settling for a poor compromise. Neither of our faces are fully visible when standing at a normal position in front of the door. A taller person's face is not at all visible. I guess we'll just have to try & identify their clothing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Viking2012 Great product-does what you need for a good price
I installed this to substitute an old LG unit. The installation is easy. It worked straight up. I found the documentation for the door opening too sparse. It does not tell you how it works. The LG had a door button. This simply closed a switch and the rest was up to you. The Swann unit actually provides the voltage for the door switch but they don't tell you anywhere. I had to change my existing installation a bit and now it works fine.
The buttons on the indoor unit are a little bit flimsy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mike Quite good
There is ample features on the intercom such as changing brightness, doorbell sound and night vision which are great features - doorbell sound is nice and clear which is really good. But the buttons could be a bit more robust, they seem a bit flimsy. But overall it is a quality product.
