Clear video, good value
Good product value. Box had recommended professional installer network, which I did. Clear video from camera witb excellent clarity. Wishes the playback feature would be more interactive and wish it would have featured "overlay" for ease of review. As it is now, the playback & review is very manual & can involve looking for a needle in a haystack. My other single camera with Comcast / Xfinity features motion sequence review for ease.

1st installation ever
I completed a temporary installation to determine the best location for the cameras. Installation was simple. I used a VGA cable to connect to my monitor. The picture is very good. I especially like the fact that I can view the images on my smartphone when traveling. There are many features that I still need to learn how to use.

So far so good
I guess I hadn't kept abreast of the latest CCTV technology since 15 years ago so I was quite impressed that I could get 1080p in a 1TB DVR package that included 4X 1080p cameras for the price I paid. I also got an extra SWPRO-1080FLB-US camera (55 degree viewing) which included audio for the 40 long kitchen/family room. I'm very happy with the product so far. The 1080FLB is hooked to channel 1 with audio working fine. Fine tuning the motion/sensitivity settings at the moment to balance false positives (true negative) with record time. Easy to find motion events configure settings both on web PC remote page and on Android app. Email alert is great if on vacation or if DVR get's stolen, photos of "intruder" are preserved. (I set up dedicated email account more for the back up photos than to be alerted. Also set all channels (main and sub-streams) to VBR and setting the main stream to 1500 Mbps and sub to 80 kbps. I find the h264 codec VBR does a good job at these rates balancing detail and motion and going to higher rates is really going to give diminishing returns considering it's surveillance footage. I think if the installation is done with care (no sharp bends, gentle forces when running the cable, and no deforming cable with attaching clips. Tip: I used a drill to untwist each 50++ foot cable before running. I recommend hiding DVR in locked ventilated box and have a decoy DVR with fake cables Overall impressed for the price paid.
